Equipment information required

Bitzer product families can vary by displacement, refrigerant, electrical supply, oil type, control method and application. The complete model and serial details are required before compatibility, parts or replacement options can be considered.

Bitzer service focus

Bitzer enquiries usually involve semi-hermetic and screw compressors used on larger cold rooms, freezer rooms and rack systems. Before repair or replacement is quoted, Topworks checks the equipment application, fault symptoms and site conditions so the service recommendation is based on the complete refrigeration system and not on the brand name alone.

For Bitzer equipment, useful pre-service information includes oil condition, operating envelope, refrigerant type, pressure readings and controller alarm history. Clear photographs and fault history help avoid wrong part selection and improve first-visit preparation.

  • Compressor tripping or non-starting
  • Abnormal compressor noise or high discharge temperature
  • Capacity loss on cold-room or freezer-room systems

Send with your enquiry

  • Complete model and serial number
  • Refrigerant and electrical data
  • Photos of the unit and nameplate
  • Operating temperatures and fault history

Assessment may include

  • Electrical and control checks
  • Operating condition and temperatures
  • Refrigerant-circuit observations
  • Repair or replacement scope

Symptoms that require diagnosis

Reported problems may include non-starting, tripping, abnormal noise, overheating, poor capacity, oil concerns, pressure abnormalities or repeated control alarms. These symptoms do not identify one component by themselves and should be assessed within the complete refrigeration system.

Replacement planning

A compressor or major component should not be selected only by physical size. Capacity, operating envelope, refrigerant, voltage, mounting, connection sizes, oil, controls and system condition all affect suitability.
