A transcritical system operates above the CO₂ critical point during part of the cycle and rejects heat through a gas cooler. It requires correctly rated high-pressure components, controls and specialist commissioning.
Yes. A properly selected system can support medium-temperature cold rooms, low-temperature freezer rooms, blast freezing, supermarket cabinets and industrial storage areas.
The review may include rated relief devices, relief discharge routes, fixed gas detection, alarms, plant-room ventilation, emergency isolation, signage, controller safeties and operating procedures.
Photographs and alarm records support the first review, but pressure, temperature, electrical and controller tests may be required before a final repair scope and price can be confirmed.
